Weblog or Blog, is an online journal. I can easily communicate via this Blog, by posting
and publishing online whatever's on my mind, whenever an idea strikes. My Blog on www.suryanarayana.com is the place where I share my thoughts, creative ideas, passions and experiences as Director,
Consultant, Trainer, eAuthor, Social-Networker and Rotarian. From time to time I will also include quotes I have read / heard,
links to useful resources and finally updates about me.
I was invited by the just born Rotary Club of Greater Hyderabad, India, to address its Members on Vocational Service Opportunities
on 25th June, 2008 for about one hour. The meeting also coincided with brief celebration of receiving the news that Club has
been Chartered on 18th June, 2008. I have briefed the audience about How a person becomes a Rotarian by classification
of his/her vocation, Importance of Rotary Vocational Service as the second avenue of service, Areas in which the Vocational
Service could be performed such as (1) High ethical Standards (2) Four way test followed by Rotarians (3) Vocational Awarness
(4) Vocational Awards (5) Career Guidance & development (6) Employer -employee relations (7) Vocation at Work (8) Rotary
International Volunteers. I enjoyed the interaction with the Rotarians during this meeting. I thank Club President Rtn.
Venu Babu, the Rotary District Secretary Rtn. Rammohan Rao who invited me and all the Members present who were enthusiastic
to listen & learn on my favourite subject of Rotary Vocation Service.
We have celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary at our residence
in Hyderabad, India on 18th June, 2008 Pournami -the Full moon day. The function started at 3-00pm wtih Rudrabhishekam [Shiva
pooja] followed by Satyanarayana Vratam at 5-00pm. The cake-cutting at 8-00pm by us has marked the Silver Anniversary celebration
followed by Dinner. We have forwarded our web-album link to those who attended this function. We thank our relatives, friends
